Pardon
“Lord have mercy upon
us. Christ have mercy upon us. Lord have mercy upon us.”
Glory to the Father
“Glory
be to the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning
is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.”
An Affirmation of Faith (unison)
This
is the good news which we received, in which we stand and by which we are
saved; that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was
buried, that he was raised on the third day; and that he appeared to Mary, then
to the twelve, and to many faithful witnesses. We believe he is the Christ, the
Son of the Living God. He is the first and the last, the beginning and the end,
he is our Lord and our God. Amen.

Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth
as it is in heaven. Give us this day our

*us
not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the

Triennium News – Today – July 14
· During July 16-21 Kelly
Dolson, Riley Grainger and N’Senga Kinzonzi will be attending the Presbyterian
Triennium Youth Conference at Purdue University. This conference happens only
once every three years and it has been over 20 years since OMHPC has sent any
youth. What an exciting time to get back connected to this historical event.
· This is an amazing
opportunity to connect with youth from across the country and the Hudson Valley
and share a love of Christ and faith.
· The total investment to
send them to Triennium is approximately $3,000.
Here are a few ways you can help:
· June 23- July 14th
- Bottle Deposit Collection—Drop your clean, empty cans/plastic bottles
in the containers in the Fellowship Hall. This is a great way to recycle your
cans after those great graduation and summer parties that you have coming up.
Please no glass.
· And from now
until July 14th, when they will be commissioned to go by the church,
there will be special envelopes for those who would like to make a donation.
There is also a category on Tithe.ly https://tithe.ly/give?c=52802
· July 14th -
Brunch and Cake/Summer Desert Auction (called by our own Joe Miedema) following
the 9:30 worship service! The auctions are always lots of fun! Tickets for the
brunch are $10 and all proceeds from the brunch and auction will go to support
the trip.
· Following Triennium,
the group will be sharing their experiences with the congregation. Thank you
for your support!!
Sue Farley’s Retirement Party – July 6
· At the manse on
July 6th from 3:00pm on. All are invited! Picnic foods, slip-n-slide,
and fun fellowship! RSVP: Farley.party109632gmail.com.
Rachel’s Elephant-Proof Garden
· The Youth
Group’s help at Pierson’s Farm for the Farm to Fork Fondo bicycle tour resulted
in $550 for Rachel’s elephant-proof garden in Nambia.
· Additional gifts
can be made by checks written to the church and directed to Rachel’s Garden or
can be made at Tithe.ly https://tithe.ly/give?c=52802
