Glory to the Father
“Glory
be to the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning
is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.”
An Affirmation of Faith (unison)
This
is the good news which we received, in which we stand and by which we are
saved; that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was
buried, that he was raised on the third day; and that he appeared to Mary, then
to the twelve, and to many faithful witnesses. We believe he is the Christ, the
Son of the Living God. He is the first and the last, the beginning and the end,
he is our Lord and our God. Amen.
Sharing of Joys and Concerns
Prayers of the People
The Lord’s Prayer
"Our
Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth
as it is in heaven. Give us this day our
daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead
*us
not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the
power, and the glory, forever. Amen.”

Stewardship 2020
“Growing by Giving”
While
a stewardship campaign may seem an odd place to be thinking about growing
spiritually, it is really the perfect place! As the scripture reminds us, where
our treasure is, there our hearts will be as well (Matthew 6:21), so if your treasure
is in God's kingdom, so will your heart be -- growing more and more like Jesus'
heart!
And
together, our hearts and our treasures can make God's kingdom come alive!
For
2020, the Session has decided to go heart first, putting our treasure into some
important areas of ministry, including our ministry with children, youth, and
families, and our online ministry through Facebook Live and Youtube Live!
We
want to be bold and brave and be kingdom people and have added to the budget so
that new things can happen in our midst. We are excited and faithful and ready
to see what God has in store for us as we grow by giving!
Would
you like to join us as we pray and give?
This year’s Stewardship mailing is on its way! Please
consider your part, and fill out a pledge/estimate of giving card for your
weekly/monthly offering using Tithe.ly or giving in the offering plates!
