Hymn
589 Here I am, Lord
Daniel L. Schutte © New Dawn Music – CCLI #791679
I, the Lord of sea and sky,
I have heard My people cry
All who dwell in deepest sin
My hand will save.
I who made the stars of night,
I will make their darkness bright.
Who will bear My light to them?
Whom shall I send?
Refrain:
Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord?
I have heard You calling in the night.
I will go, Lord. If you lead me.
I will hold Your people in my heart.
I, the Lord of snow and rain,
I have borne My people’s pain.
I have wept for love of them,
They turn away.
I will break their hearts of stone,
Give them hearts for love alone.
I will speak My word to them.
Whom shall I send?
Refrain:
Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord?
I have heard You calling in the night.
I will go, Lord. If you lead me.
I will hold Your people in my heart.
I, the Lord of wind and flame,
I will tend the poor and lame.
I will set a feast for them,
My hand will save.
Finest bread I will provide
Till their hearts be satisfied.
I will give My life to them.
Whom shall I send?
Refrain:
Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord?
I have heard You calling in the night.
I will go, Lord. If you lead me.
I will hold Your people in my heart.
Sung Response
& Assurance of Pardon
“Lord have mercy upon us. Christ have mercy upon us.
Lord have mercy upon us.”
Glory to the
Father
“Glory be to the Father, and the Son, and the Holy
Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.”
An Affirmation of
Faith (unison)
This
is the good news which we received, in which we stand and by which we are
saved; that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was
buried, that he was raised on the third day; and that he appeared to Mary, then
to the twelve, and to many faithful witnesses. We believe he is the Christ, the
Son of the Living God. He is the first and the last, the beginning and the end,
he is our Lord and our God. Amen.

and Concerns
Prayers of the
People
The Lord’s Prayer "Our
Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth
as it is in heaven. Give us this day our
daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us
not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the
power, and the glory, forever. Amen.”
Anthem "Sinner Man" Contemporary
Choir
L: The Word of the Lord. P: Thanks be to God.

Offertory Prayer
Offertory "We Will Remember You" Contemporary
Choir
Sung Response
“We give Thee but Thine own, whate’er the gift may
be. All that we have is Thine alone, a trust O Lord from Thee.”
Communion
“This is my body, this is my blood, take it now in remembrance of the
price that has been paid, for… This is my body, this is my blood, take it now
in remembrance of the price that has been paid for you.”
The Peace
L: God sent the world his only Son. Since God
loved us so much, we too should love one another.
P: Let us love one another, since love comes
from God.
L: The Peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with
you all.
P: (to each other) The Peace of Christ be with
you.
Traditional - CCLI #791679
I am weak but Thou art strong
Jesus, keep me from all wrong
I’ll be satisfied as long
As I walk, let me walk close to Thee
Refrain:
Just a closer walk with Thee,
Grant it Jesus, is my plea.
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.
Thro’ this world of toil and snares
If I falter, Lord, who cares?
Who with me my burden shares?
None but Thee, dear Lord, none but Thee.
Refrain:
Just a closer walk with Thee,
Grant it Jesus, is my plea.
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.
When my feeble life is o’er,
Time for me will be no more;
Guide me gently, safely o’er
To Thy kingdom shore, to Thy shore.
Refrain:
Just a closer walk with Thee,
Grant it Jesus, is my plea.
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.
Benediction
Sung Response
May
the Lord, Mighty God, bless and keep you forever; Grant you peace, perfect
peace, courage in every endeavor. Lift your eyes and see his face, and his love
forever. May the Lord, risen Lord, bless and keep you forever.
