Prelude

Time of Silence
“In this quiet moment, Jesus speak to me. Fill my heart with Thy love
divine, Your power let me see.”

Call to Worship
L: Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth.
P: Worship the Lord with gladness.
L: Come before Him with shouts of joy.
P: The Lord is God. God made us and we are His.

Hymn 68 We Praise Thee, O God, Our Redeemer
Julia Cady-Cory, Netherland Folk Song – CCLI #791679

We praise Thee, O God, our Redeemer, Creator,
In grateful devotion our tribute we bring;
We lay it before Thee, we kneel and adore Thee,
We bless Thy holy Name, glad praises we sing.

We worship Thee, God of our fathers, we bless Thee;
Through life’s storm and tempest our guide have Thou been;
When perils o’ertake us, Thou wilt not forsake us,
And with Thy help, O Lord, life’s battles we win.

With voices united our praises we offer,
And gladly our songs of true worship we raise;
Thy strong arm will guide us, our God is beside us,
To Thee, our great Redeemer, forever be praise.

Silent Prayer of Confession

Sung Response & Assurance of Pardon
“Lord have mercy upon us. Christ have mercy upon us. Lord have mercy upon us.”

Glory to the Father
“Glory be to the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.”

An Affirmation of Faith (unison)
This is the good news which we received, in which we stand and by which we are saved; that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day; and that he appeared to Mary, then to the twelve, and to many faithful witnesses. We believe he is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. He is the first and the last, the beginning and the end, he is our Lord and our God. Amen.

Sharing of Joys and Concerns

Prayers of the People

The Lord’s Prayer
"Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.  Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.”

Anthem                                                                   “Awesome God”
L: The Word of the Lord.  P: Thanks be to God.

Sermon                                                                      “Big Changes”

Hymn 64 Blessed Be the Name of the Lord
Don Moen | © 1986 Integrity’s Hosanna Music | CCLI # 791679

Blessed be the name of the Lord
He is worthy to be praised and adored;
So we lift up holy hands in one accord,
Singing “Blessed be the name,
Blessed be the name,
Blessed be the name of the Lord!”

The Peace
L:  God sent the world his only Son. Since God loved us so much, we too should love one another.
P:  Let us love one another, since love comes from God.
L:  The Peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
P:   (to each other) The Peace of Christ be with you.

Hymn 69 Holy, Holy
Jimmy Owens © 1972 by Bud John Songs - CCLI #791679

Holy, holy, holy, holy,
Holy, holy, Lord God Almighty;
And we lift our hearts before you as a token of our love,
Holy, holy, holy, holy.

Gracious Father, gracious Father,
We’re so blest to be Your children, gracious Father;
And we lift our heads before You as a token of our love,
Gracious Father, gracious Father.

Precious Jesus, precious Jesus,
We’re so glad that You’ve redeemed us, precious Jesus;
And we lift our hands before You as a token of our love;
Precious Jesus, precious Jesus.

Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit,
Come and fill our hearts anew, Holy Spirit;
And we lift our voice before You as a token of our love,
Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit.

Hallelujah, hallelujah,
Hallelujah, hallelujah;
And we lift our hearts before You as a token of our love,
Hallelujah, hallelujah.

Benediction

Sung Response
May the Lord, Mighty God, bless and keep you forever; Grant you peace, perfect peace, courage in every endeavor. Lift your eyes and see his face, and his love forever. May the Lord, risen Lord, bless and keep you forever.
