Greatness Of Our God

From the dawn of creation
This world has been cryin' out for hope
For a hero to save us
We long for the supernatural

(But) there is only one God Who can save the day
So clear the stage prepare the way
'Cause Heaven and Earth are singing
Glory hallelujah let the whole world see
The greatness of our God

In awesome wonder He reigns forever
We know the greatness of our God
His pow'r is endless He lives within us
We know the greatness of our God

The greatness of our God

There's no one above Him
Only our Savior wears the crown
There's none who can stop Him
Not even the grave could hold Him down

(But) there is only one God Who can save the day
So clear the stage prepare the way
'Cause Heaven and Earth are singing
Glory hallelujah let the whole world see
The greatness of our God

In awesome wonder He reigns forever
We know the greatness of our God
His pow'r is endless He lives within us
We know the greatness of our God

The greatness of our God

We stand in awe and wonder
All the honor is Yours
We stand in awe and wonder
All the honor is Yours Jesus
We stand in awe and wonder
Awe and wonder

The greatness of our God

In awesome wonder He reigns forever
We know the greatness of our God
His pow'r is endless He lives within us
We know the greatness of our God

The greatness of our God

The River

I know a place where we can go
To lay the troubles down eating your soul
I know a place where mercy flows
Take the stains make you whiter than snow

Like a tide it is rising up deep inside
A current that moves and makes ya come alive
Living water that brings the dead to life
Oh oh

We're goin' down to the river
Down to the river
Down to the river to pray
Let's get washed by the water
Washed by the water
And rise up in amazing grace
Let's go down down down to the river
You will leave changed
Let's go down down down to the river
Never the same

I've seen it move in my own life
Took me from dusty roads into Paradise
All of my dirt all of my shame
Drowned in the streams that have made me born again

Like a tide it is rising up deep inside
A current that moves and makes ya come alive
Living water that brings the dead to life
Oh oh

We're goin' down to the river
Down to the river
Down to the river to pray
Let's get washed by the water
Washed by the water
And rise up in amazing grace

Let's go down down down to the river
You will leave changed
Let's go down down down to the river
Never the same

Holy Water

God I'm on my knees again
God I'm begging please again
I need You
Oh I need You
Walking down these desert roads
Water for my thirsty soul
I need You
Oh I need You

Your forgiveness
Is like sweet sweet honey on my lips
Like the sound of a symphony to my ears
Like holy water (on my skin)

Dead man walking slave to sin
I wanna know about being born again
I need You
Oh God I need You
So take me to the riverside
Take me under baptize
I need You
Oh God I need You oh

Your forgiveness
Is like sweet sweet honey on my lips
Like the sound of a symphony to my ears
Like holy water (on my skin)

///I don't wanna abuse Your grace
God I need it ev'ry day
It's the only thing that ever really
Makes me wanna change/// (repeat 3x)

Your forgiveness
Is like sweet sweet honey on my lips
Like the sound of a symphony to my ears
Like holy water (on my skin)

Like holy water on my skin
Like holy water on my skin

Change my heart oh God
Make it ever true
Change my heart oh God
May I be like You

You are the potter
I am the clay
Mold me and make me
This is what I pray

SERMON: “Jesus Christ is Lord”

Philippians 2:1-11 (CEV)

True Humility
1 Christ encourages you, and his love comforts you. God’s Spirit unites you, and you are concerned for others. 2 Now make me completely happy! Live in harmony by showing love for each other. Be united in what you think, as if you were only one person. 3 Don’t be jealous or proud, but be humble and consider others more important than yourselves. 4 Care about them as much as you care about yourselves 5 and think the same way that Christ Jesus thought:

6 Christ was truly God.
But he did not try to remain
equal with God.

7 Instead he gave up everything
and became a slave,
when he became
like one of us.

8 Christ was humble.
He obeyed God
and even died
on a cross.

9 Then God gave Christ
the highest place
and honored his name
above all others.

10 So at the name of Jesus
everyone will bow down,
those in heaven, on earth,
and under the earth.

11 And to the glory
of God the Father
everyone will openly agree,
“Jesus Christ is Lord!”
