An Affirmation of Faith (unison) 

This is the good news which we received, in which we stand and by which we are saved; that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day; and that he appeared to Mary, then to the twelve, and to many faithful witnesses. Food Pantry – January 7

• The food pantry is in need of: Rice mixes, Pasta, and Soup 
• We also need more volunteers to help out on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month! Three or four more would be ideal!

Podcasts of Sunday’s Sermons

• In talking to some younger adults (who may be related to me) it became clear that listening to podcasts is fairly common.
• Consistent with multitasking, listening to a podcast allows for the listener to do other tasks while enjoying music and well as informational podcasts.
• So, just like adding 60-second sermons, we now have a weekly podcast (like a radio show) available in all kinds of places, that include both the scripture reading, sermon, and sometimes my comments.

Another Suggestion

• And… the suggestion was made at the Wednesday Night Bible Study that we collect what our people think are the 5O greatest bible verses, and share one a week for folks to pray about, meditate on, and perhaps memorize!
• Which verses do you think should make the cut?

New Bible Study

• The "Heroes of Faith" bible study will start on Tuesday, January 5 at 7pm on Zoom. 
• It is a brand new study and a brand new group. 
• If you are interested, let Jeff know. 
• The preaching will be following the bible study!
